‘Horizon Chase – World Tour’ from Aquiris Just Got a Big Update Bringing in Porto Alegre into the Brazillian Cup, New Weekly Challenges, and More

It has been a while since Aquiris Game Studio announced and eventually showcased Horizon Chase. I’ve been playing it ever since I picked it up on iOS a long time ago and eventually got it on Nintendo Switch. We awarded it 5 stars in our original review and chose it as Game of the Week when it launched. We also featured it in our Best Games of 2015 list. Recently, Aquiris revealed big plans for the iOS and Android version of Horizon Chase (Free) for 2020. Today, a major update has arrived on PS4, Xbox One, iOS, Android, and PC platforms. The Nintendo Switch update will arrive soon. Watch the trailer for the update below:

Today’s update celebrated Aquiris’ hometown and it is a free update. The update brings two new tracks set in the city of Porto Alegre, one new car, and six skins. Minuano is the new car added in the update and it has been inspired by car designs of the 80s in Porto Alegre. The two new tracks have references to real landmarks. On iOS and Android, Horizon Chase also gets new weekly challenges with new tracks and rules each week. Premium players will get extra benefits here. If you haven’t gotten it yet, check out Horizon Chase on the App Store here. Check out our forum thread for more discussion around the game here. Have you been playing it regularly?
