Six years ago, Table Top Racing arrived on the App Store bringing Micro Machines like racing to the iOS. Check out our review of it when it released back in 2013 here. Table Top Racing: World Tour – Nitro Edition debuted on Nintendo Switch as an enhanced release of the original Table Top Racing: World Tour available on multiple systems. This enhanced release has now arrived on iOS and tvOS for devices running iOS 13 and later. Watch the trailer for it below:
Table Top Racing: World Tour – Nitro Edition supports two player horizontal and vertical split-screen with both offline and online play options. It has cross platform play between iOS and tvOS right now with Android to be added in the future. The Android version is currently in testing so expect it in the future. Playrise Digital also confirmed that it runs at 4K 60fps on the new 4K Apple TV and is 60fps on all devices. Table Top Racing: World Tour – Nitro Edition requires iOS 13 and supports both the PS4 and Xbox One controllers. It is a pretty hefty download at 3.1 GB as well.
If you’re interested in checking it out, Table Top Racing: World Tour – Nitro Edition is available on iOS and tvOS as a premium release for $4.99. The original Table Top Racing Premium Edition hasn’t been updated for 64-bit support so it isn’t playable on modern iOS devices. I’m always up for more racing games on iOS that aren’t free to play with great multiplayer options. The Android version of Table Top Racing: World Tour – Nitro Edition will be out in the future. Did you play the original on the App Store back in 2013?
